A weak enemy who comes in obedience and feigns friendship, his only intention is to become a strong enemy (in the future and fight you again).
As it is said: Trust not even the friendship of friends, even if your enemies flattered you. (If your enemy comes and flatters you, pretending to be your friend, you cannot rely on his friendship, for this is more dangerous than an open enemy who declares his hostility.) He who despises a small enemy is like one who ignores a small fire (it will easily grow and consume everyone).
Kill him today while you can
For if the fire rises, it will consume everyone
(meaning when the enemy grows strong and comes to fight you again).
Do not let the enemy bend the bow
if you can kill him with an arrow.
Arabic Translation
عَدوٌ ضَعيف يأتي في الطاعةِ ويُظهر الصداقةِ، مَقصوده ليس إلا أن يُصبح عدواً قوياً (في المَستقبل ويعاود قتالكَ)
حيث قيل: لا ثقة في صداقةِ الأصدقاء حَتى تَملق الأعداء (*في حال أن عدوكَ يأتي ويتملق لك ويتظاهر بأنه صديق لك، فلا يمكنك هنا الاعتماد على صداقتهِ، فهذا أخطر من العدو الظاهر الذي يعلن العداء لكَ)، ومَن يَحتقر العَدو الصغير يُشبه من يُهمل النار الصغيرة (بالسهولة سوف تكبر وتحرق الجميع)
اقتله اليوم إذ تَستطع قتله
فإذا النار أرتفعت أحرقت الجميع (يقصد عندما يقوى العدو ويأتي ليحاربك مرة أخرى)
لا تدع العدو يثني القوس
إذا كنت تستطيع قتله بسهمٍ

دشمنی ضعیف که در طاعت آید و دوستی نماید، مقصود وی جز آن نیست که دشمنی قوی گردد و گفتهاند: بر دوستی دوستان اعتماد نیست تا به تملق دشمنان چه رسد و هر که دشمن کوچک را حقیر میدارد، بدان ماند که آتش اندک را مهمل میگذارد.
امروز بکش چو میتوان کشت
کآتش چو بلند شد جهان سوخت
مگذار که زه کند کمان را
دشمن که به تیر میتوان دوخت
