The friendship of kings cannot be guaranteed to last, nor can the sweet voice of a child be assured of permanence. All of that changes with the thought of a king, and a child’s beautiful laughter fades when they sleep.
Do not give your heart to a lover who has given
their heart to a thousand other friends.
And if you do decide to give your heart to them,
that will be the day you part ways with that friend.

لا يُمكن الثقةَ بدوامِ صَداقة الملوكِ، ولايمكن الثقة بدوام صوتِ الأطفال الجميل، فإن ذلك كله يَتغير بفكرةٍ (الملك)، و الطفل يتبدل ضحكه الجميل، اذا نام
لا تعطِ قلبكَ لحبيبٍ، أعطى قلبه لألف صديق غيركَ
وإن قررت أعطاءه قلبكَ، فذاك يوم فراقِ الصديقِ

به دوستی پادشاهان اعتماد نتوان کرد و بر آواز خوش کودکان، که آن به خیالی مبدل شود و این به خوابی متغیر گردد
معشوق هزار دوست را دل ندهی
ور میدهی آن دل به جدایی بنهی
