He who is not guided by the wisdom of this world to what is right will fall into the torment of the Hereafter. And We will surely make them taste of the lesser punishment before the greater punishment.
The advice of elders is a lesson,
If you do not heed this advice, it will become a burden upon you.
He who does not listen to advice one day
will fall into the shackles of hardship tomorrow.
Arabic Translation
من لم يرشدْهُ أدبُ الدنيا إلى الصواب، وقعَ في عذابِ الآخرةِ
وَلَنُذیقَنَّهُم من العَذاب الأدنی دوُنَ العَذابِ الأکبرِ
نَصيحةُ الكِبارِ هو مَوعظةٌ، فإن لم تُسمع هذه النصيحة غَدت قيداً عليكَ
فمن لم يستمع للنصحَ يوماً، سوف يقع في قيد المحن غداً

هر که به تأدیب دنیا راه صواب نگیرد، به تعذیب عقبی گرفتار آید. وَلَنُذیقَنَّهُم من العَذاب الأدنی دوُنَ العَذابِ الأکبرِ
پند است خطاب مهتران آن گه بند
چون پند دهند و نشنوی بند نهند
