The dervish who asking GOD to have His mercy

The dervish used to say in his supplication to his Lord: “O God, have mercy on the wicked, for You have shown mercy to the virtuous, and created them in a better state than the wicked.”

The precise meaning: This is the epitome of tenderness, as the dervish believes that the virtuous have already received their mercy because God created them virtuous, while the wicked are deprived and wretched because they were born or became wicked. Therefore, they are the ones most deserving of supplication for guidance and mercy from God.
