Who has no patience, wisdom is far from him

A Moroccan beggar was saying in the row of cloth merchants in Aleppo: “O masters of blessings, if you were just (in giving the poor from your wealth), and we beggars possessed enough contentment, the profession of begging would have disappeared from this world

O contentment, enrich me, for without you there is no blessing
Luqman chose the corner of patience, for he who has no patience, wisdom is far from him

(Contentment is an inexhaustible treasure.)”
