Women’s counsel (in matters of resolve) is corrupting, and generosity towards corrupt individuals is a sin.
If you entrust a matter to a wicked person and show him favor,
he will commit evil deeds, along with your partners.
To show mercy to a sharp-toothed tiger
is pure injustice to the flock (sheep).
The deeper meaning: Saadi warns against showing mercy, and kindness to the wicked is in reality a crime against the innocent.
If you show kindness to the tiger,
you are helping it to devour the sheep.
Arabic Translation
مَشورةُ النساءِ (في أمور الحزمِ) مَفسدة، والسَخاءُ مع المُفسدين خَطيئة
الخَبيث إذا عهدت اليه أمراً ودللتهُ
سوف يرتكب المساؤي، مع شركائكَ
إنّ الرحمةَ بنمرٍ حادِّ الأنياب
هي محضُ ظُلمٍ للقطعان (الأغنام)
المعنى العميق: سعدي يحذر من الرحمة و الإحسان إلى الشرير (الخبيث) هو في الحقيقة جناية بحق الأبرياء، فإذا أكرمت النمر، فأنت تعينه على أكل الغنم

خبیث را چو تعهد کنی و بنوازی
به دولت تو گنه میکند به انبازی
ترحم بر پلنگ تیز دندان
ستمکاری بود بر گوسپندان
