Where are you, wild gazelle?
I have known you for a long time,
We are two, alone, lost, with no one with us,
And dangers surround us on all sides, before us and behind us.
So what will happen? Tell me, my companions!
You who accompany the companionless, and comfort the strangers!
Come (O wild gazelle), let us confide in each other,
And perhaps we can fulfill our desires together,
Unless the blessed Khidr (the Prophet who knows the unseen) appears,
To help this lonely one reach the other lonely one.
We are two, alone, lost, with no one with us,
And dangers surround us on all sides, before us and behind us.
This meeting between us holds joy within it,
Because this beautiful meaning stems from the depths of the soul,
Because this fragrance is not from a female gazelle that fears humans,
But from the perfume of Paradise, from the Houris.
One day, there was a traveler in a distant land,
And a wise man spoke to him with kind words,
But suddenly he stabbed him with the sword of separation,
As if there had been no acquaintance or friendship between them.
O companions, do not underestimate the value of friendship,
And if the meaning is clear, do not treat it superficially,
For these are the counsels of the wise,
That distance and separation are always lurking behind the curtain.
That old friend did not respect the simplest rights of companionship,
O people, O believers, fear God,
O people, O believers, fear God,

أين أنتِ أيتها الظبية البرية؟

لقد عرفتك منذ زمن طويل

نحن اثنان، وحيدان، تائهان، لا أحد معنا

والمخاطر تحيط بنا من كل جهة، أمامنا وخلفنا

فماذا سيحدث؟ أخبروني يا رفاقي

يا من ترافقون من لا رفيق له، وتؤنسون الغرباء

تعالي (إيتها الظبية البرية) نبوح بما في صدورنا لبعضنا

ولعلنا نتمكن من تحقيق رغباتنا سويًّا

إلا إذا ظهر (النبي الخُضر/*يعرف الغيب) المُبارك

ليساعد هذا الوحيد، ليصل إلى الوحيد الآخر

نحن اثنان، وحيدان، تائهان، لا أحد معنا

والمخاطر تحيط بنا من كل جهة، أمامنا وخلفنا

هذا اللقاء بيننا، يحمل في داخله بهجة

لأن هذا المعنى الجميل نابع من عمق الروح

لأن هذا العطر، ليس من أنثى غزال تخاف البشر

بل من طيب الجنة، من الحور العين

ذات يوم، كان هناك سالكٌ في أرض بعيدة

فتكلم معه رجل حكيم بكلمة طيبة

لكنه فجأة طعنه بسيف الفُرقة

وكأن بينهما لم تكن أي معرفة أو صداقة

يا رفاق، لا تستهينوا بقيمة الصداقة

وإذا كان المعنى واضحًا، فلا تتعاملوا معه بسطحية

فهذه هي نصائح الحكماء

أن البُعد والفُرقة دائماً يترصّدون خلف الستار

ذلك الصديق القديم لم يراعِ أبسط حقوق الصحبة

يا ناس، يا مؤمنين، اتقوا الله

اَلا اِی آهویِ وَحشی! کجایی؟

مرا با توست چندین آشنایی

دو تنها و دو سرگردان، دو بی‌کس

دَد و دامت، کمین از پیش و از پس

چه خواهد شد، بگویید ای رفیقان

رفیقِ بی‌کسان، یارِ غریبان

بیا تا حال یک‌دیگر بِدانیم

مُراد هم بجوییم ار توانیم

مَگر خضْرِ مُبارک پی درآید

که اين تنها بدان تنها رساند

دو تنها و دو سرگردان دو بی‌کس

دد و دامت کمين از پيش و از پس

فَرَح‌بَخشی درین ترکیب پیداست

که نغزِ شعر و مغزِ جانِ اَجزاست

که این نافه زِ چینِ جیبِ حورَ است

نه آن آهو که از مَردم نُفور است

که روزی ره‌رُوی در سرزمینی

به لُطفش گفت رِندی ره‌نشینی

چنان بی‌رحم زد تیغِ جدایی

که گویی خود نبوده است آشنایی

رفیقان، قدرِ یک‌دیگر بدانید

چو معلوم است شَرح از بَر مَخوانید

مقالاتِ نصیحت‌گو همین است

که سنگ‌اندازِ هجران در کمین است

نکرد آن هم‌دمِ دیرین مُدارا
