قدري مُظلم كشجرة وحيدة،
أصرخ بصوت عالٍ في صمت الصحراء القاتل،
ولا أحد يسمعني
قدري أن أكون شجرة بلا مُعين
حيث أصبحت الصحراء مزاراً دفنت فيه أحلامي
شجرة وحيدة، جافة و بلا ثمر، أنتظر قدري لكي يأتي
أتسأل مع نفسي، أين تلك النضارة التي كانت لي، وأين أوراقي وثماري؟
(شجرة وحيدة) بعيدة عن الأحبة، بلا ثمر ولا ورق
(شجرة وحيدة) أصبحت رفيقة المعاناة، و قريبة من الموت
على وجهي تراكم غبار الحزن
والعاصفة كسرت مني أغصاناً كثيرة
