Strike the head of the snake (*try to discord the enmity between two of your enemies) with the hand of the enemy, for both are your enemies. You will not be disappointed by either of them (one of the two best outcomes):
Either this enemy will triumph and kills the snake, or the snake kills your enemy, and you will be get-rid of one of the enemies.
Do not underestimate the weak enemy on the day of battle
For even the weak, if their life is threatened, fight like a lion.
Arabic Translation
إضرب رأس الأفعى (العدو) بيد العدو (الأخر)، فكلاهما أعداءٌ لك، فلن تَخيب من أحدهما (اِحدَی الحُسنَیَین) فإما أن يَنتصر العدو ويقتل الأفعى، أو تقتل الأفعى عدوك، فتتخلص من أحد الأعداءِ
لا تتهاون مَع العَدو الضَعيف بيومَ المعركةِ
فحتى الضَعيف إذا ما هُدِّدت حياته، يُقاتل كالأسد
ضرب المثل: يعني قم باثارة الخصام بين اعداءك، فلن تخيب، في سعيك، سوف تتخلص من أحدهما

سر مار به دست دشمن بکوب که از اِحدَی الحُسنَیَین خالی نباشد: اگر این غالب آمد، مار کُشتی و گر آن، از دشمن رَستی
به روزِ معرکه ایمِن مشو ز خصمِ ضعیف
که مغزِ شیر برآرد چو دل ز جان برداشت
