إذا كُنتَ تَعلم أن خَبراً ما سَيؤلم قَلب أحَدهم (يجعله حزيناً)، فأصمت (تكتم عن الحديثِ بهذا الخبر)، حتى يأتي غيركَ ويتحدث به
(ربما الغريب، أو الشخص الأخر، غير معروف، ولا يتم الانتباه لحديثه، أو يمر حديثه مرورا سريعاً، ليس مثل الشخص الذي تعرفه ويتحدث بأمر حزين لك إذا سمعته)
أيها البُلبل، بَشّر بقدوم الربيع
وأترك الأخبار السَيئة للبومة (الطائر الذي يحمل معنى الشر والحظ السيء)
