The hardship that befell the righteous will eventually lead to relief, and the reign of the wicked will ultimately perish.
He who possesses power and wealth but is wicked will not mend a broken heart (he will not find a wounded heart to pray for the wealthy and powerful after his death).
So tell the wealthy man the truth: that he will find neither power nor dominion in the Hereafter.
Arabic Translation
الشِدَّةُ التي ألمت بالأخيارِ مآلُها إلى الفَرَجِ، ودَولةُ الأشرارِ مآلُها إلى الزَّوالِ
مَن كان ذا جَاهٍ وثروةٍ وهو شرير
لن يَجبرَ خَاطِراً مَكسوراً (لن يَجدَ قلباً مَجروحاً يَدعو لصاحب الثروة والجاه من بعد موتهِ)
فأخبِروا ذات الغني بصدق القولٍ: بأنه لا جَاهٍ ولا دَولةٍ
سَيجدُها في الدارِ الآخِرةِ

شدت نیکان روی در فرج دارد و دولت بدان سر در نشیب
هر که را جاه و دولت است و بدان
خاطری خسته در نخواهد یافت
خبرش ده که هیچ دولت و جاه
به سرای دگر نخواهد یافت
