مثل ظلي: This is a powerful simile reflecting the intense attachment and inseparability; a shadow never leaves its owner, and the beloved has become inseparable from the lover in all their movements and stillness.

أقرب ناسي وخليt: “Close friend” is the loyal companion whose love permeates the very soul and blood, representing the highest degree of affection and companionship.

يا ليت العمر يتهادى: “Gifted as a gift” is a warm, poetic wish in which the lover desires that life were a tangible, material thing that they could wrap and present as a precious gift to their beloved.
