The slow camel beat the fast horse

Works succeed with patience, and the hasty one reaches the end (destruction) quickly.

I saw with my own eyes in the desert
that the slow one surpassed the fast one.

The swift horse stopped from exhaustion (after running at great speed), and the camel riders remained mounted and traveling for a long time.

الأعمال تَنجح بالصبر، والمَستعجل يصل إلى النهاية (الهلاك) بسرعة

رأيت بَعيني في الصحراءِ
أن البَطيء، سَبق المُسرعين

الحِصان سَريع الخطوةِ توقف من التعبِ (بعد الجري بسرعة كبيرة)
وراكبي الجمال بقوا راكبين وسائرين مدة طويلة

کارها به صبر بر آید و مُستَعجِل به سر در آید

به چشمِ خویش دیدم در بیابان
که آهسته سَبَق بُرد از شتابان

سمندِ بادپای از تک فرو ماند
شتربان هم‌چنان آهسته می‌راند
