I saw a Bedouin who had said to his son: “My son, you will be questioned on the Day of Judgment about what you earned, not about your lineage.” Meaning, on the Day of Judgment, you will be asked about your deeds, not your father.
The covering of the Holy Kaaba, which they kiss, is not sacred because it is made from silkworm silk.
(Meaning, its sanctity is not due to its price or the rarity of its origin. They kiss it every time during Hajj and Umrah.)
It was a companion of the Most High (the House of God/the Kaaba) for a few days, and then it became precious because of His glory.
Arabic Translation
رأيت أعرابياً كان قد قالَ لابنهِ:یا بُنَّی اِنَّك مَسئولٌ یومَ القیامةِ ماذا اکتَسَبتَ و لا یُقالُ بِمن أنتسبتَ، أي، في يوم القيامةِ سيسألونك عن عَملك، لا عن أبيك
كِسوة الكعبةِ الشريفة التي يقبلونها
ليس بسبب أصل صناعتها من دودةِ القزِ
(يعني، بأن قدسيتها ليس بسبب الثمن أو ندارة الأصل، وهم يقبلوها في كل مرة، اثناء الحجِ والعمرة)
كانت رَفيقاً للعزيزِ (بيت ألله/الكعبة) أياماً قليلة
فأصبحت حَتماً عَزيزة بعزتهِ

اعرابیی را دیدم که پسر را همیگفت یا بُنَّی اِنَّک مسئولٌ یومَ القیامةِ ماذا اکتَسَبتَ و لا یُقالُ بمن انتسبتَ، یعنی تو را خواهند پرسید که عملت چیست نگویند پدرت کیست
جامه کعبه را که می بوسند
او نه از کرم پیله نامی شد
با عزیزی نشست روزی چند
لاجرم همچنو گرامی شد
