A kingdom is made more beautiful by the presence of wise and learned men, and religion reaches its perfection with the presence of pious scholars. Kings need the company of the wise more than the wise need the company of kings.
If you heed this advice, O King, know that in all the world there is no better advice than this:
Do not entrust any task to anyone but a wise and discerning person, even if the task is not within the domain of the wise.
Arabic Translation
المُلكُ يزداد جمالاً بوجود العقلاء والعلماء، والدَين يَبلغ الكمال بوجود العلماء المتقين، و المُلوك أحوج إلى مصاحبةِ العُقلاء، أكثر من حاجة العُقلاءِ لقُربِ الملوكِ
إن سَمعتَ النَصيحةَ أيها الملكُ
فأن في كل العالمِ لا توجد نصيحة أفضل من هذهِ
لا تَعهد بأي عَمل لغير عاقلٍ حكيمٍ
وإن كان العَملُ ليسَ من حرفةِ العاقلِ

مُلک از خردمندان جمال گیرد و دین از پرهیزگاران کمال یابد. پادشاهان به صحبت خردمندان از آن محتاجترند که خردمندان به قربت پادشاهان
پندی اگر بشنوی ای پادشاه
در همه عالم به از این پند نیست
جز به خردمند مفرما عمل
گرچه عمل کار خردمند نیست
