The Fisherman and the Fish

The deprived fisherman (without a predetermined livelihood) will not catch a fish even in the Tigris River teeming with fish, and the fish whose time has not yet come will not die, even without water (on dry land).

The poor man, so attached to this world, roams the earth in search of sustenance, but sustenance eludes him, and death (the hand of fate) pursues him relentlessly.

Persian text
